German top football league Bundesliga restarted its season on May 16 without spectators, becoming the first European football league to resume amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Spain’s – La Liga will resume on 11 June with next season starting on 12 September, says the league’s president Javier Tebas. Tebas said a behind closed doors derby between Real Betis and Sevilla could restart the campaign.
Serie A aims for 13 June restart subject to government approval. Serie A plans to resume its season on 13 June if Italy’s government approves. The league’s general assembly met on Wednesday via videoconference and approved the date for resumption “in accordance with government decisions and medical protocols”.
England – The Epl is set to restart on Premier League clubs on Thursday agreed to restart the 2019/20 season on June 17, provided that all safety requirements are in place to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. … “Today we have provisionally agreed to resume the Premier League on Wednesday 17 June,” said Premier League chief executive Richard Masters.

French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe made the announcement as he outlined relaxations to coronavirus lockdown rules in France. These did not include allowing sports leagues to restart.
