The Junior Chamber International, Lagos Metropolitan, at the 48th convention and the investiture of the 49th president of the organization held on Sunday, 6th of December, 2020, tasked the youths on their roles in nation-building through fostering collaborative impact.
The Head of Key Account Management at Jumia Nigeria, Mr. Kolawole Osinowo, in his theme speech, highlighted the different ways youths can foster collaborative impact in the nation and how they can continually be a force to reckon with in the country.
Delivering the Keynote address, the MD/CEO of Sustmark Consulting Limited, Mr. Oluwafemi Aniba, called for the youths to take cues from the older generation’s experience in their fight for a better nation.
Highlighting her achievements, the 48th President of JCI Lagos Metropolitan, Omowunmi Davies-Akinwande, explained that although the Corona Virus hampered some of the key plans, her team was still able to deliver on the critical mantra of her administration.
In his acceptance speech, the 49th President of the organization, Ayodeji Akinwande, thanked the organization members for the opportunity before pronouncing his theme for the 2021 administrative year as PROMOTING TRANSFORMATIVE SOLUTIONS.
Notable dignitaries at the event were JCI Lagos Metropolitan Past Presidents & Members including JCI Sen. Abodunrin Roberts, JCI Sen. Shex Ladipo, JCI Sen. Yetunde Doyin-Ishola, JCI Sen. Doyin Ishola, JCI Sen. Mayowa Adeyemi, Past President Anthony Ode, Past President Hammed Salami, Past President Adeyemo Adeonipekun, Past President Adeyanju Adeonipekun, and JCIN Amb. Jelilat Dairo Chukwu.
Others were JCI Nigeria Past Presidents, Senators, and Ambassadors, including JCI Sen. Bisi Aniso, JCI Sen. Seun Oshikalu, JCI Sen. Richard Ojo, JCI Sen. Rotimi Adewole, JCI Sen. Bayo Morakinyo, JCI Sen. Isreal Chukwu, JCIN Amb. Temi Alade Mustapha; the Supervising JCI Nigeria National Vice President, Esther Bamisebi, without forgetting other Local Organization Presidents, Friends, and well-wishers from far and wide.
